Arrival and information
Mexico City airport is a major international airport situated at 300km from the city. Bus transportation is available (directly from the airport to Xalapa). We recommend to take a local flight to Veracruz city. A bus will be organized to pick up people if arrival times coincide.
Arrival Dates to Xalapa: You can arrive at Mexico City International Airport (approximately 5 hours from Xalapa) or Veracruz International Airport (approximately 2 hours from Xalapa). Please note that the Port of Veracruz will be hosting Carnival during this period. Carnival begins on June 28th at the port of Veracruz, but you can avoid traffic by buying a ticket for vans that leave from the airport directly to Xalapa.
